SMMF –
The fabric feels really nice – soft and warm, but with good stretch. It feels like this toque will keep its shape over time, not stretch out like some wool toques do. Lightweight enough to shove in a jacket pocket. Seems to fit a bit on the small size, but I don’t like tight fitting hats, so that might just be me. I would normally wear a S/M in a toque, but the L/XL is perfect.
Santa –
Perfect. Thin but warm. I bought 2. Great under a helmet also.
TheBarron –
I love wearing beenies like this during the cooler months of the year and this is now my favorite. It is so lightweight and breathable. I get hat fatigue after wearing a knit cap all day. This is just perfect and exactly what I have been looking for.
Avery –
Best skull cap toque I’ve owned! Perfect fit! Made of Merino Wool
NMBob –
This is my second one of these, I liked it so much that I bought another, I have a shaved head and these are perfect for all winter to keep my head cozy indoors and out.
Lucas –
Nice to wear and keeps you warm! Delivery professional as always!
Momo –
I wear it basically every day looks good I like it very much!
SixRunThree –
Like most people with larger heads, I find it hard to find hats that fit. Not only is this one big, it’s awesome in every other way. I wore it running as soon as I got it and it kept me warm yet it was very breathable. This has become my favourite colder weather running hat as well as a nice beanie to fit under my ski helmet. Love it! Please make more colours next year!
Edgar818 –
if you wear beanies regularly this one is a must have, it keeps your head warm under challenging weather its so light weight you forget you are wearing it. Overall awesome product two suggestions for Arc’teryx for this product will be to offer black thread stitch for the logo and avoid print tagging sizing information so low inside the beanie to avoid the visibility of it in the event of wearing it with the edges folded out
Sczebra –
This is a LIGHT weight beanie that is perfect for carrying in a pocket and putting on under a hood to add some warmth.
Tom22 –
I have this in army green as well, very light weight for it’s efficiency.
Clay –
I bought one last year in their forage color and used it for high intensity activities under 50-60F. The toque kept me warm without overheating, plus it was large enough for my 7 3/8 head.
Snow G –
For the aficionados of haute couture in headwear, this beanie is an absolute necessity. If you happen to be one of those individuals who adorns beanies with unerring regularity, this piece is nothing short of a sartorial revelation. It bestows upon you an impeccable cocoon of warmth that defiantly battles against even the most capricious of meteorological challenges. Yet, the pice de rsistance lies in its sublime weightlessness, a sensation akin to donning a whisper-thin halo of coziness that makes you question the very presence of headwear on your crown.
To put it succinctly, this product is nothing short of a masterpiece, a veritable symphony of craftsmanship. Allow me, if you will, to present two modest proposals to the esteemed artisans at Arc’teryx: consider imbuing the logo’s stitching with the opulence of black thread, elevating its aesthetic opulence to celestial heights. Additionally, a subtle relocation of the sizing information, discreetly ensconced within the inner sanctum of the beanie, would ensure an unblemished facade when one chooses to artfully fold out its edges.
This beanie, in all its glory, speaks the language of luxury with each and every wear, transcending mere headwear to become a statement of affluence and refinement.
UpNorth –
The perfect beanie for high output activities in late fall and early spring. I love the revised sizing from last year. The older version was too short, this one is perfect!
RM84 –
Great hat, thin and comfortable, I’m a size 57 hat and went for a small lots of room left. Soft to the touch and not itchy at all.
Vivs –
I have a small face/head so it’s been challenging finding a toque that doesn’t dwarf or give the bobblehead effect. Specifically I wanted something thin just to take the chill off and can smoothly fit under helmets. This isn’t it if you’re looking for a traditional thick wool toque. For my use case this was perfectly light and comfortable and so very soft. There is some excess at the top (again small head) but the extra bit folds over and stays in place.
Tommy –
The wool is extremely soft and also stretchy. Super versatile and comfortable. Extremely packable. My only complaint is I wish the logo was more subtle, or not there at all (preferably).
Vonnyy –
hands down best hat i’ve worn in my whole 19 years of existence on this planet i sleep eat breev and get paypa in this hat thank you arcteryx
Skoota –
Happy I bought this, warm, lightweight, comfortable.
JB907 –
I originally bought this in a black S/M but despite being in the size range (22 -1/2″) it was far too tight so I returned it and got a L/XL in relic. That fit was much more comfortable so I’d recommend going the L/XL unless you have a very small head.
This is a thin hat but I knew that going in. It will not stop the wind, it will not keep you warm in less that 0 C weather. But, it will fit under a helmet, you can sleep in it, you can wear it on a cool spring/fall day or summer night, you can wear it comfortably car hopping or shopping in the winter, and if your hair is a mess and you don’t want to wear a baseball cap this works great.
So as long as you know what it can and can’t do, it’s a great soft beanie that is warm in the right conditions.
Hilzilla –
Perfect low profile for First responders in the field!
Dale A –
Light weight, warm, well designed for performance and quality.
Julio1111 –
I actually bought this for cycling; works great for fitting under a helmet and keeping my ears warm! Can’t say I look the most stylish, but it’s a fantasticly soft high quality hat.
George B –
Let other people remark about the outdoor features, benefits and uses of this terrific lightweight hat. I took it on an airplane flight, pulled it down over my eyes and ears and enjoyed a sweet ,tranquil block out of the light and most of the ambient noise around me.
Rocks –
Couldn’t live without this thing. Honestly this is the most clutch beanie you could get. keeps you warm, comfy, small. idk its just essential
