I had trouble getting the right size since I never noticed the small print which said sizes are UK. Once I finally got the right pair I have walked around the house to get a sense of how they fit. I am planning ahead for a hike in the Eastern and Western Algarve in April so I will have ample time to break them.

Really nice fit. Can’t tell much on durability, too early but initial feedback is satisfying. Be aware runs large. I am in W 10 most brands, I got 9.5 on these since I wanted hugged fit with regular socks. Thanks

This is the perfect shoe for hiking, travel, and work. I love the new color and couldn’t resist adding another color to my wardrobe.

These shoes were a replacement for an earlier pair that were not properly waterproof. Arc’teryx refunded me the money for the faulty shoes without any fuss and I bought these ones instead. They are fabulous. Comfortable, waterproof, great grip on slippery shale and \i love the colour too. This is a great company that truly stands behind it’s products.

I am a true women’s size 8 and that is what I purchased. These run HUGE .. and I figured out the reason. The shoe and box says EU 40 and that’s the size they are. A women’s size 8 is 39, and a 40 is size 9. When you’ve purchased a final sale, and think that you’ve purchased a women’s size 8, in reality, you’ve purchased a size 9 and you’re stuck with a final sale. I hope that before anyone purchases this shoe, reads this warning and purchases the EU size, otherwise you’re gonna be walking out of your shoes. Arc’teryx, your design team needs to know that women should buy either a EU size or US size and get your labels right ! Other than that .. it’s a cute shoe.

This is the 3rd pair of Konseal leather shoes that I have bought. I have a narrow foot and they fit extremely well. I get lots of compliments about them as they are a super good looking shoe.
Observatori –
Very sturdy shoe, yet still lightweight.
I expected to need to break the shoes in, but found that I could wear them at length right away.
Stable, comfortable fit on my wide foot with a high arch.
I also expected the shoes might be a bit hot – but actually they seem to breath and I havent had any issues with sweaty feet.
Super happy with these shoes.

I use these as approach shoes and they are fabulous-nevermind that, though. I am writing this review to warn the people who are going to purchase these shoes using their US size. I bought a US size 7, as I am a true 7, and they were too big. I returned and re-purchased using my EU size (or Arcteryx US size 6) and they fit perfect. The size chart for US women’s is mislabeled-it is one whole size off from what it is supposed to be. However, the EU sizing is correct. BUY THESE SHOES USING YOUR EU SIZE! If you buy using your US size, the shoe will be one size too big. Look up any EU size chart online; the one Arcteryx provides is wrong.
Once again, lovely shoes; they are excellent to use for warm-up climbs as well. But I know some of you are probably buying these close to the trip you need them for (like myself) and you don’t have the time to return and purchase again.

I’ve had these shoes for a full summer of approaches and they are still in great shape. The soles climb well on moderately technical and scrambly terrain.

I have this shoe in a dusty pink colour. It feels super sturdy yet lightweight and looks great. The sole is springy, without compromising on ankle support. My only bugbear is that I find my toes start to feel squished over long distances. The shoe is long enough, just a little narrow I think this is one reason why it looks so elegant. Maybe I should have sized up.

I just purchased my 3rd pair. I walk a lot and wear them down on the bottom but they do not break down. I love them but they fit large. I buy 1/2 size smaller.
Pete –
very comfortable shoes, though I have found the goretex and leather combo to be sweaty at best. I don’t have a narrow heel and my heel slips out without lacing a heel lock. Definitely fits a bit wide. I think they would be great for approach, especially on slightly colder days.
Jana –
I just bought them,I really love the comfy of the shoes, I the style. I’m ready for an adventure of walking and running.

Vivian –
The shoes look cool and I got a lot of compliments but they are not the most breathable. One thing the size guide is definitely not accurate. They are way too big.
Paulina –
just the size was too big…I though that N°7 should be equivalent to 37. In other brands was perfect, but in this brand and model didn’t work out.

The size seems to run too big.
Maddybear –
I had to size down a 1/2 size. The leather is beautiful pink color. The laces are round and stay tied in a double knot. I use them for hiking and mountain biking as the sole is stiff and flexible. These shoes fit my narrow shallow foot with room for my toes.
Laura –
These are my go to approach shoe, Im my second pair of because I love them so much. I use them for all things rock climbing, they stick to rock super well but theyre also great for every day use. Would 100% reccomend this product.

The shoes, in theory, are just what I was looking for. Adding new inserts helped with the comfort, so I’m keeping them. The fact that they are water resistant and that the soles are great for walking on slick surfaces was the final selling point.
Rcn –
The soles are nice and the fit is good but overall the shoe material seemed cheap to mr. I have some Asolo Space GV shoes that are much better materials of construction. These are ok but not worth the price IMO.

These were amazing on comfort. Unfortunately, I lost them on my transition by bus to Scotland but if I go overseas again and plan to do much walking I will buy these again. I could walk for hours and my feet never hurt.
