These have a great all around feel, super comfy and stretchy and yet tough enough to wear climbing and know I won’t get scratched up. I also like that they don’t have belt loops as I find that backpack straps often cut in at those points.

I have three pairs of gamma pass from the LT’s to the Mex, and they are incredibly comfortable, keep their shape, love the fact, that their water repellent for wearing on the ocean, when you paddle to snowshoeing of the local mountains to travelling abroad to Iceland or hiking in the mountains of Switzerland. incredibly versatile for every situation.

I love how durable these pants are and how comfortable they feel when wearing. I wear them on their own during cool/cold weather trail walks and I sometimes layer tights underneath when the weather turns really cold, but they are usually warm enough for me on their own and I feel the cold easily.Great pant.

I bought my 1 st Gamma and was so amazed with the quality and confort that I owned now a pair in all the Colors + the insulated one and my husband did the same
Very happy Arc’teryx are keeping the same model with new colour

I ordered these a few months ago and I’ve worn them so much since then! They’re really comfy and have a great stretch for rock climbing. Definitely plan on getting more!
Julia –
Being using it for hiking and rock climbing. Light material. Perfect fit for me (5ft)

Looking for pants that provide comfort around the thighs and stay in place during hikes? Look no further! I’ve had my fair share of frustration with women’s hiking pants being too tight where they shouldn’t be. However, these pants exceeded my expectations. I purchased them with two goals in mind: 1) to wear them for hiking and 2) to switch to my Vans and instantly transform them into a stylish and comfortable pair of pants. On a side not, they’re impressively quick to dry!

This pant is just warm enough on its own to be great anytime in a semi cold enviroment. I wear this pant as my go to above tree line, and wear a base layer under it in extremely cold conditions. I have climbed extensively in this pant and would recommend it to anyone for climbing above tree line or as a starting point for rock climbing in the mountains. Paired with a phase base layer and with an Alpha Pant, you are set for all conditions.

Very happy. I have a pair of Gamma AR already for colder days. These are nice and light and do a great job keeping the cold and wind out. Surprisingly warmer than I expected. Fits as advertised.

Love these pants so, so much, oh and the colour. So comfy.

I love these pants. Great for hiking in all season. I have them in all colors. Very comfy and the fit is great. I am 5’2″ and I am happy that they have short inseam sizes.

Lightweight and very comfortable throughout! 4-way stretch is perfect for my 27″ thigh and 17″ calf circumferences! These are tight like leggings which I prefer. I can still wear Arc’teryx Essent leggings as base layer just fine. Plus, it allows for me to buy perfect size for waist while still fitting snuggly at my narrow straight hips and flatter backside. There is no give at the waist belt but the material is still comfortable if it fits. It would dig in if purchased too small. I’m thrilled with the fit overall!

I ordered the gamma pant in 00 short length. I find that the gamma pant fits well, does not wrinkle and goes from the trail to casual wear. The short length is perfect for me – no hemming! With the stretch, I can use for bike touring. A great travel pant.

I bought this and just received it yesterday. I’m 5’7 and I purchased a size 8R, it fits me perfectly and it’s not too short or too long. It’s the perfect length and fits my body perfectly.
I definitely feel like this was worth the money.

Most reviews would’ve talked about how great these pants are for hiking and climbing all seasons, but I mostly want to rave about how these were the perfect travel pants for me over a 3-week trip. The Gamma Pants are so stretchy but holds their shape. Slim through the thighs with a straight cut at the bottom. Never a wrinkle, doesn’t look like you came from a hike (but you can in them of course), comfortable on 10+ hr flights and 20k step days, so many functional pockets, weather resistant, and so quick to dry. I do echo one reviewer’s sentiment that rise of these pants sit slightly awkward and the material can bunch around the waist when tightened, but not enough to be a deterrent personally. Would love to see this in a women’s jogger fit!

I’ve had a pair of Gamma Pants for over 2 years now and can’t say enough good things. Lightweight, comfortable and extremely durable – they’ve help up to many climbing sessions and kept my legs safe. Highly recommend for climbers, hikers and backpackers.

I bought these pants in the purple/pinkish color last spring and they quickly became my *favorite* pant to guide in. I guide single pitch rock climbing in Acadia National Park and these pants are the first outdoor pants that have fully fit my waist and booty without bagginess AND with plenty of stretch for my bendy needs. I bought them in black too for when I am bleeding and I got the “light” version in orange. I like the OG gamma better than the light version but both are hella comfy. My only qualm is the belt buckle thing comes undone a lot when getting moved by the harness, but the pants stay on anyway so it isn’t a huge deal.
They have a gusset in the crotch so they are comfortable without underwear on, which is pretty epic on hot summer days or if you need quick pee access to drop your pants while wearing a harness on a multi-pitch climb without wanting to deal with the hassle of also getting underwear back on under a harness
They dry super fast. I have a pelvic floor dysfunction and have literally peed myself wearing these while on a big alpine route and they dried out in 20-30 minutes with wind.
I have worn them doing a lot of climbing, including crack climbing and chimney climbing and they only have a few minor rips on the pockets where I either had good luck rocks or my phone inside to provide a hard surface for the outside rock to rub against and create a tear in the fabric. My legs be bruised but the pants are going strong.
Will definitely be buying more in other fun colors.

I bought this item one month ago and weared it during the trip. Very comfortable. Strongly recommend it.

I loved the colour! These are my favourite pants. I have 4 gamma pants now. They’re light, dry quickly and flexible. I love them for everyday and perfect for camping.
DrPaulOh –
This is one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe. I wear this for activity, fitness and just as a comfortable casual piece. The simple design makes it a classic look that is clean and comfortable at the same time.
I have worn the Gamma pants in a variety of settings and temperatures. I have worn my Gammas with warm base layers on – 20C runs and on +20C hikes in the summer to keep the bugs off of my legs. I love the flexibility of these pants. The material is water repellant, breathable, flexible, soft and durable at the same time. This gives me the ability to do anything and everything I want to do in my training at any temperature.
Also, these pants are comfortable and look good. I love wearing these to do my everyday tasks. From taking my kids to school, soccer practice or just hanging out with friends and family. It doesn’t feel restrictive and fits well. I love ability to micro-adjust with the belt and the draw cords around the ankles ensure the pants fit just right.
I feel confident about how I look in these pants and they allow me perform in my training and fitness to be my best self.

Perfect city or outdoor pants – perfect length for 5’5 is the small

This is my second pair of the Gamma Pants. I love them for everyday and hiking. They are comfortable and durable and look very nice on. Fit is true to size
Flasher –
This is my third pair of Gamma pants. I wear them fly fishing in the boat. Comfortable and durable and styled just right.
Marie –
I bought this pant size 2 regular. They fit a little bit different to compare the previous Gamma. A little bit fitted. I liked the previous model for the bel. So, it fit very good on me.
Laura –
These are great pants for hiking, travel, you name it! They are really pricey but the quality aligns, with the exception of that useless snap. If you sit it will pop open. This can be fixed by using a belt but $200 pants shouldn’t require the use of a belt to stay closed
With that said, they are durable. I’ve worn them for both hiking and travel. Quick dry, water repellent
They’re a bit heavy for me for my regular hiking since I live in a very warm climate so I’d like to try the lightweight version
I do wish there were more colors, like foliage and maybe the bright pink that is currently in season
I ordered a 14 (my measurements are 35″ w, 44″ h) and they fit as I would want them to (comfortable and not tight)
For reference, I can wear both a 12 and 14 in the Outdoor Research Ferrosi pants, a 10 in Lululemon leggings, a 12 in Lululemon casual pants, and a Large in Nike leggings.
