As a professional rescuer/chaplain, I need the best gear available not knowing how long I will be out in the elements. Comfort and quality are essential and quality is vital.
No other brand comes close to the technology and quality that Arc’teryx offers.
Thank you Arc’teryx for stepping up to meet the demands of a tough night out in the elements.

I wear these to and from school, walking every day. They are comfortable, warm, waterproof and stable – live in southern Aberta where every day can be different weather.
WDall –
these boots are impressive. they fit so well and hug my foot just under the ankle bone giving stability while remaining flexible across the toes. the waterproofing is solid and the soles are super grippy on gravel and dirt. it’s the perfect light-weight hiking/walking boot. i’d recommend these boots for Spring Summer and Fall. they’re a bit too thin for winter.
Jonn –
it’s comfortable and suit. I like it. the geotex is very important foe outdoors.

These are my second pairs of Aerios Mid GTX shoes, I have my first pair Aerios Mid GTX shoes in other color two years ago, I really like them. Purchased this new Aerios FL 2 three weeks ago as my expected they are very comfortable, light weight, nice stylish. I wore they in day hiking, and daily walk in fall, winter, and spring seasons in northeast of American. They are one of my favor shoes.

I was so excited to get these shoes that look awesome and are light weight. BUT, they are not made for women. Although advertised in women’s sizes, they actually substitute the closest men’s size, which are wider at the top and in the ankle. I wish they came cut for women, but they don’t.

I bought these for an upcoming trip to Alaska. I needed something waterproof and comfortable. I haven’t put them to the full test yet but I do love them!

I am so happy I decided to get this boot! I used it all through the rain season and not only is it comfortable from first time I put it on, but it is also very functional – amazing grip on different terrains, keeps water out and feet dry inside. Also it is stylish. At first i thought a black boot would not be so great for hiking but I ended up loving how versatile it is if you are trying to make it work with different outfits. All around, it makes me feel like I can concur any mountain!

This is my second pair of these – and I will say it’s because the ones I got previously were worn so much that I made the front edge peel off. I probably should have reached out to warranty but they did get a lot of use in multiple terrains.
These boots are by far the easiest hikers I’ve ever broken in. That may vary depending on foot/arch type, but compared to the Norvan runners and many other brands of hikers, these I can pretty much get right onto the trail immediately with no issues.
I’ve worn these on 20-mile muddy hikes in Hawaii, steep summits in the Canadian Rockies, scree-ridden scrambles in BC with lots of bushwacking, and they constantly perform. Personally I never buy hikers that aren’t waterproof / Goretex, and these have proven themselves so well amongst so many different environments.

Love them! Very comfortable and lightweight. Super happy with my purchase.

I’ve worn these on a few 10-15km day hikes this summer, and they’ve been comfortable from the get go. My feet have stayed dry during creek crossings and the grip is great for different terrains. I love them so far! I bought my normal size (8.5W) and I feel like they fit true to size.
Julia –
Comfortable pair of shoes. I’ve used these for easy day hikes and also just rainy days in the city. Waterproof and durable.
Ultra G –
I got these in September 2023 and I love them. As a long distance ultra runner for the first time I have control of my feet. The wide box is great no squished feet.
Yosemite K –
I usually hike in trail running shoes, but I bought these for a six-day backcountry trip in Yosemite where I knew the trails would be rocky and there would be quite a few stream crossings. The grip is amazing. The shoes provide a great feel for the trail, but still protect my feet from sharp rocks. Rock hopping across creeks usually result in a toe or two getting dunked in the water, plus we ran into a lot of wet grass. My feet stayed dry. Blisters? Not even a hot spot. These are great hiking shoes.

I bought the shoe a week ago and I’ve been living in it. It’s perfect for all conditions and so comfortable.
Jeff –
Bought these last year and love them for short day hikes. The light weight make the day easier and the sturdiness provides that needed support for a light pack.
Maya –
I’m just gonna say – WOW!! Oh… and do size down.
Outdoor W –
I had a similar model purchased 2018, after twice a day dog walk in trails , mostly rainy & muddy condition, I needed a new pair. It has been mover a week that I am using new pair,so far great, excellent breathing & warmth , & GtX is great
JMOR –
I went down a half size and they fit perfect. They are light weight and ready to wear right out of the box.

Bardzo wygodne buty, jestem szczliwa, chodz w nich rownie na codzie. Polecam.

Arc’teryx makes great clothes, but their shoes continue to baffle me. These very hard and stiff shoes offer almost no cushioning in the sole, and the sides are like cardboard. Sure, they might break in over time, but I don’t want to bank on it.
Ruth –
Absolutely wonderful shoe. Easy to break in from the get go, super comfy. Healing from ankle replace surgery and these have been helpful. They track forward nicely for a foot that doesn’t yet track nicely. Pricey, but no regrets.

Like a glove out if the box. I’ve got a tiny narrow foot. Couldn’t believe it.
Anonymous –
Need more arch bc healing recent ankle replacement. These are really comfy. Traveler and walker approved.
Tracy –
Comfy hiking sneaker without looking clunky. One of the things that I love about these sneakers is that they are not the least bit clunky looking. The shoe actually curves in where the arch of your foot is. The sole is extremely gripping, which is wonderful. I purchased the sneakers in black so they could be worn with any color, which does work. However, the trade of is that they are not feminine looking, but hey, they are hiking sneakers. They do look nice with a pair of blue jeans though, which is the benefit of them being black – they can actually look a little dressier. They run about 3/4 of a size larger than what is labeled. I usually wear an 8/12, but purchase a 9 in hiking shoes. After reading the reviews about them running large, I purchased an 8 1/2. The Arc’teryx box shows the size as a US 8 1/2 and an EU 40 2/3. By the conversion chart, this would make these equal to a US 9.25. Which is exactly how they feel. The only downside of the shoe is that the insole has no arch support. But that makes the upside of the shoe running large. As someone with very high arches, it leaves room for me to remove the insole that came with the shoe and add an Oboz insole. They’re now extremely comfortable.
I’ve only had a chance to wear them on flat trail hikes, but so far I am extremely pleased. I’m looking forward to taking them on some mountain hikes in the spring.
