- The two-button jacket boasts a slim notched lapel, left chest besom pocket, long sleeves with a three-button closure on the cuffs, seamed front flap pockets, and a logo-printed lining.
- The straight-leg trousers feature a belt-loop waistband, slash hand pockets, and a zipper fly with a button closure.

This is my son’s second Appaman suit. He looks so handsome and he feels very dapper in it! My son is skinny so the skinny pant cut and slender jacket work well on him. It is not over powering. I gave it 4 stars for comfort because I bought a size up so he could wear it a while and I always think that when the adjustable waist band is cinched super tight, it can’t be that comfortable. I went all over looking at retail stores to find a suit for my son that wasn’t holiday colors and a size 6 boys and couldn’t find anything! I headed on line and for young boys it is pretty limiting what you can find. We were very pleased with this suit!

My son owns a size 12
He has just turned 13 so we ordered a 14
He is skinny and tall
However, there is no significant difference between the 2 sizes…not to mention how short they turned up ?! Sell them long and hem if necessary not the other way around !?
Im really annoyed by this . Perhaps the arm sleeve/ cuff has a centimeter difference but its still too short !!!
This suit fits more like a 12 be aware

My grandson (7) loves his suit. He is thin and the fit is perfect. He looks like his father when he wears it. I also bought him the brown winged tip shoes with it. He loves the monkey lining and shows the inside suit pockets to everyone. This was a GREAT buy.

We love Appaman suits for our 10 year old son. He is on the smaller side and most suits swallow him and look ridiculous. These fit him perfect and look great as well.

My son loves his new suit. We bought this for his Holy Communion. He is autistic so we have to be cautious with material as he doesn’t like some but he said this is good! Fit runs a little small

This has to be the most dapper well fitted suit for a young man. My four year old is tall and so he wears a size six. The shoulders fit well and we hemmed the slacks. Note, the legs are slim, not loose fitting. Very jr. GQ! Great investment if you need a boys suit often!

Beautiful suit but runs so small! The 12 didn’t fit either my 12 year old or my 10 year old. Pants would have been way too short for either of my boys, and neither is particularly tall. They’re both 50th percentile for height and weight on their growth charts so I’d have figured that the 12 would fit at least one of them. And on a pair of dress pants extra length is always better so you can hem them appropriately.

Everything is cut VERY short, and suit jackets have wide bodies with short sleeves. Also, sizing varies too much between fabric and cut options – no standardization. I’ve been buying their suits for my boys for years, but the recent changes make it nearly impossible to find the right fit.

Purchased this for first communion for my 8, almost 9 yr old. The waist has the elastic button thing hidden so you can adjust waiste without tailoring.. It’s is adorable and fits great! He said “mom I look like the men in black this is awesome”

My son is truly thin and in the 50th for his height (so average height and trim). He is 11, but will be 12 in November, so nearly 12. He wears a size 12. And, it fits PERFECT! Who wants a baggy, sloppy suit..no way..this one is cut like they should be! Finally a line of clothing made for healthy kids!!! The cut is slim and dapper…very GQ..so no need to take this set to our alterations shop. I highly recommend this line for nice tailored pieces. And if you have a slim kiddo, you will love them!

Size 14 Fit perfectly. Suits are modern and stylish. Used the waist buttons, about 5 holes in each side, to tighten and keep pants sitting higher, to get that break between his white sneaks and ankle, since my son is on very thin side. Appaman suits always good quality.

Nice material and looks sharp. The pants of the Big Kids 12 fit my 12 yr old son well, but the jacket sleeves are really short. If I could split the set and keep just the pants, I would.

This suit had a strange fit. The arms were not sewn high enough under the armpit so that my son could only move his arms like a penguin. In addition, the material looked cheap. I returned.

This is a tailored suit; so will fit best on trim kids (not super skinny). Bought my grandson size 12 and 14- he is an athletic build with a little bit of “belly”. Size 14 was way too big (long) size 12 fits like a glove… perfect if he were a grown man and not ever changing.
He is 4’7” 84 pounds. The weight is pretty evenly distributed.
Side note is the navy blue is very dark- I thought it was black until I took it into the light.
The fabric is beautiful, soft, rich, lightweight, feels good to the touch.
I hope this helps- so hard to get 10 year old boys looking sharp!
